Built on a five-panel waterproof hat featuring gray up front with a black back, this hat features the historic Join, or Die snake patch. Inspired by Benjamin Franklin’s famous colonial image, the divided snake represented a simple message: separate, the colonies were vulnerable; united, they were strong. A classic piece of early American history and a symbol of unity, independence, and the fight that ultimately gave birth to a nation.
